Were those caravans empty because the owners were tired of coming to the same place time after time? Were they empty because the owners were concerned about the security of renting them to strangers? Or was it because there was no easy, hassle-free way of finding suitable holiday “tenants”?
From these musings, Breakaway Concepts was born
Kevin and wife Sharon recognised they would be more willing to lease their own bach to people who appreciated and respected the asset they had. In short, other holiday “home” owners (be it caravan, bach, or holiday home).
Plus too, they could see the attraction of exploring idyllic off-the-beaten track holiday spots where there were no motels or hotels.
Talking to others, they quickly realised that the idea was also applicable to anyone owning a home anywhere. People were interested in swapping, or leasing their homes to other homeowners who respected their asset, so they could have affordable, comfortable breaks away anywhere in New Zealand, or overseas for that matter.
Breakaway Concepts aims to put like-minded people who own homes in touch with each other, with the objective of exchanging or renting their respective properties. Read more... |
